Mike Covington - Low Country Photos
Welcome to Low Country Photos
.
Mike Covington, a landscape and wildlife photographer is a native of Rockingham, NC and now lives in Pawleys Island, SC. Mike is currently on the board of Seacoast Artist Guild of South Carolina and is currently involved in creating digital images of artists artwork and teaching artists how to get their art exposed using websites and digital media.
"What began as a hobby evolved into my passion to share, through my photography, the wonderful picture perfect clarity that our surroundings have to offer. Capturing the vibrant colors in the sunrises and sunsets, as well as the awesome scenic landscapes and beautiful wildlife of the Low Country is what I enjoy most. I have been fortunate enough to capture these rare photogenic opportunities while out along the rivers, inlets, waterways, back roads, and beaches. I enjoy sharing these photo's so that everyone can experience our wonderful surroundings exactly as I see it through the camera lens."
I grew up in North Carolina with a technology career within both South Carolina and Georgia.
